Such a fun song to play, I cut my teeth with this one.
Orgasm of Death – The Growlers
If we’re talking about music, then we’re also talking lyricism, and I think The Growlers absolutely do it best.

It’s Been Too Long – Quicksilver Messenger Service
I love how the guitars weave in and out of each other, and the groove is infectious. I love the late 60s San Francisco sound and would like to develop the style with the other Muthers.
Whole Lotta Love (live from How the West Was Won) – Led Zeppelin
I am a massive Zep head, and this live show, in my opinion, is their zenith. I absolutely love a long jam that forever changes, which is what Zeppelin did so well – everything was brand new every night. It was very hard to choose a live Zep song, and it’s a bit embarrassing that I’ve chosen their biggest one, but if you have a spare 20 minutes, I recommend the listen.
Exercising With My Demons – Makeout Videotape
Easily one of my favourite songs on one of my favourite albums. A sound I have found myself emulating a lot.
Muthers are a 4-piece group from Birmingham, blending the groove of the 60’s and 70’s with sounds of the 21st century. What started as a 3-piece featuring: Jake Parker (drums), Jake Lowe (Bass) and Emilio Blasich (Guitar/Vocals), Muthers drew inspiration from the power trios of the ‘golden age’ of music. After a few performances, a desire for a bigger sound resulted in the addition of Lewis Green (guitar), which, in turn, elevated the whole Muthers experience.
