More Event Info
Death Grips – Beware
A crazed trance-like track that creates excitement for listening to crazed trance-like bands like The Pink Diamond Revue who are on the line up.
Guns N’ Roses – My World
Sometimes you just have to listen to that WTF song by a band known for making a completely different style of music. That’s the unpredictable vibe you’ll get from the versatile bands playing on Sunday.
Jack White – Over and Over and Over
The fuzzy riff in Jack White’s latest solo record is inspiring for that raw but retro sound that Hey Jester want to take to the next level.
Smashing Pumpkins – Today
Bassist Joe Davies enjoys listening to Smashing Pumpkins and when the 3rd of Feb comes round the corner, it will indeed be “Today” when we play at The Marrs Bar for Uncover’s event; pun intended.
Radiohead – Paranoid Android
White Noise Cinema will be playing and we have heard comparisons to Radiohead along with their Prog Rock vibes. So we thought why not get into one of the more Prog Rock songs in Radiohead’s arsenal?
MaximilianMus – Oh Yeah Yeah
A banger of a meme to hype your Sunday morning until we rock out in the evening. If you can floss to the 13/4 riff in our track “Sickly Sweet” we’ll give you a free CD.
Jimi Hendrix – Tax Free
A psychedelic jam by the ultimate power trio, with a nice sentiment.
Kiss – Take It Off
Our drummer Nick loves Kiss so we’re pretty certain he’ll be driving to the show, head banging to this cheesefest along the way.
The J. Geils Band – Centerfold
Being that the band is from Worcester, it’s great to listen to successful bands that are part of Worcester’s musical history as we prepare to play at one of Worcester’s go-to venues, The Marrs Bar. Oh wait… they’re from Worcester, Massachusetts? Doh!
Led Zeppelin – Dazed and Confused
Ok NOW we’re talking. This legendary band really does have many roots in the Worcestershire area with the likes of John Bonham and Robert Plant. This song was at the time a guttural, hard hitting, improvisational, light and shade powerhouse and nothing sounded like it. It really inspires us to strive for our own originality as a band.
