Coach Party have spent years doing the hard yards, from support slots with some of the biggest names in rock, to festival stages and relentless touring, and ‘Over’ feels like a band cashing in every last one of those miles. This is not the Coach Party of jangly indie hooks and wry put-downs. This is something altogether heavier, and it suits them extraordinarily well.

Jess Eastwood’s vocals sit above the noise with a precision and control that only makes the whole thing hit harder, her delivery rousing and raw in equal measure, cutting clean through the grit underneath without softening a single edge. The rhythm section locks in with real purpose, and the result is a track that feels designed to rattle walls and loosen teeth.
