If you haven’t caught PleasureInc live yet, fix that immediately. This group of two brothers and their mates are basically the Beastie Boys, if the Beastie Boys also loved indie pop music and the pub, and that energy is bottled completely in their new single ‘Lies’.

It’s hard not to grin through the whole thing. The hooks are immediate, the delivery is cocky in the best possible way, and the whole thing moves with the kind of momentum that makes you wish you were hearing it at the end of a long week with a beer in your hand.

Lies is unpretentious, joyful, and sharp as a tack. Don’t sleep on it.
