Frances Mistry will play The Sunflower Lounge on Sunday, 13th September, bringing her soft but sure brand of indie-folk to a room perfectly suited to her intimate, personal songwriting.
The Brighton-based newcomer is quietly carving out a space of her own. Since releasing her third EP in May 2025, frances has stepped into an exciting new chapter filled with fresh music, live shows and deeper connections with her audience, sharing personal stories from her own life, including her journey with autism. Inspired by the gentle honesty of artists like Clairo, Faye Webster and Beabadoobee, her songs feel personal yet familiar: little moments wrapped in melody.
It’s a formula that’s already winning her serious attention. BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders has called her a “proper, authentic artist”, Spotify named her Fresh Finds Artist of the Month for May, and she took to the BBC Introducing stage at The Great Escape 2025. She’s also opened for the likes of Paris Paloma and Alfie Templeman, building a reputation as a support act who more than holds her own.
