Lotusbliss will headline Hare & Hounds, Birmingham, on Monday 5th October, bringing their ethereal, guitar-driven sound to the city following the release of their highly anticipated debut album.
Hailing from Canterbury, UK, lotusbliss is the result of a literal lifetime of creating, experimenting, noise-making and camaraderie between brothers Josh, Seth and Adam. With a DIY spirit and an ethereal sensibility, their sound marries ambient soundscapes, high-octane guitar, raw lyricism and infectious melodies, while making full use of the natural vocal similarity between the siblings, blending their voices in and out of unison and harmony to striking effect.
The band’s debut album, ‘Chalk’, arrives on 21st August, marking a significant milestone for the trio and setting the stage for their biggest run of shows to date. This Hare & Hounds date offers a first chance to hear the record’s songs performed live, in a venue with a long history of nurturing exactly this kind of homegrown, guitar-led talent.
With a sound built on years of shared history and an unmistakable family chemistry, lotusbliss are a band well worth catching as they step into this new chapter.
