The upcoming show will feature two contrasting sets: the first revisiting material from across their ten‑year journey, the second debuting a full, unreleased 10‑track album. It is the first time the new work will be performed publicly, offering a rare opportunity to witness the launch of a new era in real time.
After the live performance, frontwoman Genie Mendez and the band will continue the night by getting behind the decks and hosting an unmissable DJ set until close, guaranteeing a night to remember.
Since forming on the day of the UK’s 2016 referendum vote, Lycio have steadily built a reputation as one of the Midlands’ most distinctive and technically ambitious live acts. Their fully live, no‑backing‑track approach has taken them to stages often out of reach for independent artists, including CarFest for BBC Children in Need, Big Feastival for BBC Introducing, The Great Escape Festival, and support slots with Rae Morris, YONAKA, Self Esteem and Low Island.
